What is the difference between Euro 26 STUDENT card and Euro 26 CLASSIC card?
STUDENT card is addressed to all pupils and students who are already 7 years old and have not turned 30 yet (people in this age span have a right to buy a CLASSIC card version). Unlike the CLASSIC card, the STUDENT card has an additional function called ‘STUDENT ID’ which helps to prove your student’s status abroad. STUDENT card is available with a choice of three insurance policies (WORLD, SPORT or POLAND) whereas CLASSIC card version is available with two policies: WORLD and SPORT.

Can I get a Euro 26 STUDENT if I am an external student or do the evening studies?
Yes, you can. Euro 26 STUDENT card is available for every pupil and student at the age from 7 to 30. The mode of your studies and type of school do not matter here at all. If you have a document that certifies that you learn or study, you can get a Euro 26 STUDENT card.

What is 'STUDENT ID'?
It is a special function of Euro 26 STUDENT card. 'STUDENT ID' function helps you to certify your student’s status abroad. It is often useful when you want to get additional discounts reserved to pupils or students. An entrance to numerous museums and galleries, which is often free in many countries, can serve as a good example here.

Even though in a month time you aren’t a student any longer, your card with all its properties will be valid for a year from the date of purchase.

Is the card valid in the USA and Canada?
Since 1 May 2006 insurance included in Euro 26 card has not been valid in the USA and Canada. These countries do not participate in the Euro 26 project and there are no ‘official’ discounts for cardholders within their territories. However, it is possible that STUDENT cardholders get a discount in places where it is usually granted to students (i.e. in museums or galleries). But still whether you will be given a discount or not depends entirely on a good will of the person who sells tickets.
