The EURO26 Card is intended for persons over 5 and under 30 years of age.

You can get the EURO26 card no later than two days before turning 30, it will be valid for 365 days.

What counts is the age on the day of purchasing the Card.

Yes, the EURO26 Card number is also the insurance policy number.

If you are abroad during the purchase, the insurance will start working after a 7-day grace period, counted from the date of premium payment.

Loss of student status at a later date does not affect the validity of the EURO26 Card, you can get the next Card in the Classic version.

nsurance coverage depends on the purchased Card variant:

  • Polska, Polska Extra, Polska Sport and Polska Sport Extra cards are valid in Poland
  • World, World Extra, Sport and Sport Extra card is valid worldwide, excluding the USA and Canada.

The EURO26 Card holder may purchase additional travel insurance covering the USA and Canada.

Insurance is provided by UNIQA Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń S.A., based on the Group Insurance Agreement for EURO 26 Card Holders No. 2050552309

The Youth Projects Foundation with its registered office in Gdańsk, Aleja Grunwaldzka 523, 80 – 320 Gdańsk is the INSURER and persons purchasing the Card are currently joining the Foundation Club in accordance with the documentation provided, in particular with the Regulations of the EURO26 Card.

  • I option with Treatment Costs insurance up to EUR 30,000, accident insurance up to EUR 4,000, luggage up to EUR 400 and third party liability insurance up to EUR 50,000 costs PLN 3.20/day
  • Option II with Treatment Costs insurance up to EUR 50,000, accident insurance up to EUR 4,000, luggage up to EUR 400 and third party liability insurance up to EUR 50,000 costs PLN 4.80/day.

Getting sick with COVID-19 is treated like any other sudden illness abroad and the Medical Expenses and Assistance policy will work. There is also no exclusion from the scope of liability in the event of a pandemic or epidemic in the Special Terms and Conditions of Insurance.

Additionally the Insurer will help with organizing quarantine up to EUR 1 000 and isolation up to EUR 1 000.

Yes, you are covered by insurance, regardless of whether the EURO26 Card is accepted in a given country.

Since May 1, 2004, we have the right to use health care in EU countries, having the European Health Insurance Card NFZ.

The EHIC does not replace travel insurance, nor does it guarantee all free services. Most often, it allows you to recover a smaller or larger part of the expenses incurred for treatment. Within the EU, you will not get a refund, e.g. for transport to the country.

Thanks to the insurance with the EURO26 Card, these costs are covered by the insurer.

TC are available in the WORLD, WORLD EXTRA, SPORT and SPORT EXTRA policies.

This is to cover medical costs incurred abroad, including hospital treatment and medicines. When leaving Poland, it is worth having insurance that will cover the costs of treatment, the policy under the EURO26 Card includes much more.

In EURO26, you are covered for medical expenses abroad up to EUR 60,000 (in the WORLD and SPORT version) or up to EUR 250,000 (in WORLD EXTRA and SPORT EXTRA).

If you fall ill abroad and the doctor issues you a prescription for medicines, you are entitled to a refund based on the original bills.

Treatment costs in the WORLD, WORLD EXTRA, SPORT and SPORT EXTRA variants cover the costs of treatment incurred abroad. In Poland, working people or pupils and students are insured by the National Health Fund.

It is a benefit paid for health detriment suffered as a result of an accident, paid after the treatment is completed.

All 24 insurance variants in the EURO26 Card (POLSKA, POLSKA EXTRA, POLSKA SPORT, POLSKA SPORT EXTRA, WORLD, WORLD EXTRA, SPORT and SPORT EXTRA) have accident insurance and differ in the benefit limit.

The variants of the EURO26 POLSKA, POLSKA EXTRA, POLSKA SPORT and POLSKA SPORT EXTRA Cards include third party liability (Civil Liability) insurance in private life, intended for property or personal damage. If you unintentionally cause damage to someone, the TPL included in the EURO26 Card will cover the related expenses. Remember, however, that the deductible for third party liability damages (reductive franchise) is PLN 500.

The deductible under the EURO26 POLSKA, POLSKA EXTRA, POLSKA SPORT and POLSKA SPORT EXTRA Cards is PLN 500.

Own contribution under the EURO26 WORLD, WORLD EXTRA, SPORT Card and SPORT EXTRA is 50 EUR.

Yes. There is no obligation to obtain an additional policy at school. Don’t pay for insurance twice. When the school requests confirmation of your insurance included in the Card – just show the certificate!

Yes, the EURO26 Card in the WORLD, SPORT, WORLD EXTRA and SPORT EXTRA versions is covered by travel luggage insurance. The amount of baggage insurance is EUR 200.

Amateur summer and winter sports are covered by insurance under the following variants of the EURO26 Card: POLSKA EXTRA, POLSKA SPORT, POLSKA SPORT EXTRA, WORLD EXTRA, SPORT and SPORT EXTRA.

Amateur summer and winter sports are sports practiced recreationally in summer or winter conditions in designated places (on slopes, routes, water bodies), which are understood as: skiing, snowboarding, surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, wakeboarding, as well as teambuilding activities .

In the case of practicing high-risk sports, extreme sports, competitive and professional sports, you will be protected by the EURO26 Card in the POLSKA SPORT, POLSKA SPORT EXTRA, SPORT and SPORT EXTRA versions.

The EURO26 SPORT, SPORT EXTRA and WORLD EXTRA policies cover the costs of rescue and search operations. The sum insured for the costs of rescue and rescue operation is up to the equivalent of EUR 8,000 (SPORT EXTRA and SPORT variants) or EUR 5,000 (WORLD variant) and is a sublimit of the sum insured for medical costs.

EURO26 SPORT, POLSKA SPORT, POLSKA EXTRA, POLSKA SPORT EXTRA, WORLD EXTRA and SPORT EXTRA Cardholders are covered by insurance against sprains, sprains and ruptures.

Depending on the type of damage, the degree of permanent health impairment is 0.5-20%.

In the event of an accident, illness or other event abroad, you should immediately contact the Alarm Center of Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń UNIQA S.A. and report the event.

Accident Insurance(Consequences of Personal Accidents) – in the event of an accident, the Insured reports a loss after the treatment is completed, however, if within 360 days from the date of the accident, the treatment or rehabilitation has not been completed, at the Insured’s request

The Insurance Company will determine the type and percentage of damage to health.

TC (Treatment Costs Abroad) – in the event of an accident or other incident abroad, you should immediately call the Emergency Center. Failure to notify the Emergency Center about the event abroad will result in a reduction of the compensation payment. The reduction of the compensation payment will not take place in the case of an objective lack of contact with the Head Office (loss of consciousness, serious accident, etc.). Each time after returning to Poland, regardless of whether the Insured previously contacted the Emergency Center or not, he/she is obliged to report the loss in writing to the Insured’s company within 7 days and send it together with the attached original bills and required documentation by mail to the address provided in the terms and conditions of insurance.

Third party liability (Civil Liability) – after each event resulting in the insured causing damage, the insured is obliged to immediately notify the Emergency Center, but not later than within 7 days from the date of the event.

The insurance included under the EURO26 Card does not cover benefits for the birth of a child and the death of a close person.

The costs of treatment abroad are covered by the Insurer. In the event of an emergency, contact the Alarm Center immediately:

The Alarm Center is open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, service in Polish and English. This institution deals with the organization of medical assistance during travel, securing the costs of treatment and payment of benefits. Failure to notify the Emergency Center about the event abroad will result in a reduction of the compensation payment. The reduction of the compensation payment will not take place in the case of an objective lack of contact with the Head Office (loss of consciousness, serious accident, etc.).

If you have not informed the Alarm Center, remember to obtain a medical diagnosis from the doctor and the original bill.

Yes, the Card in the WORLD, SPORT, WORLD EXTRA and SPORT EXTRA versions provides such insurance in the field of Medical Expenses and Consequences of Personal Accidents (education, student internships, legal work abroad) for a year from the date of its issue. It is required to have approvals and permits in accordance with the law of the country where the work is performed.

The Civil Liability Policy does not apply during student internships, internships, volunteer work and work abroad.

The confirmation of the policy is a personal insurance certificate, which we issue in the Polish-English version. Yes, but in this case the Medical Costs (TC) insurance does not work in the territory of the country of permanent residence (registration) of a given person, in Poland (the policy does not cover medical expenses in our country), in the USA and Canada. In other countries around the world, a foreigner with a Polish edition of the Card has a valid Medical Expenses, Accidents and Civil Liability policy.

Yes but only if you choose one of the Cards with +REHA. 

The Insurance Company shall reimburse the Insured for the costs of rehabilitation of the consequences of the accident incurred by him within 12 months from the date of the accident. Reimbursement of rehabilitation costs is based on bills or invoices, in the amount of up to PLN 1,000.

Chronic diseases are covered by insurance.

Exclusions regarding tropical diseases are only in the accident policy § 21 section 6 – there is no liability of the Insurance Company.

With regard to medical costs arising from a tropical disease, the terms and conditions do not include a limitation of liability in this respect.

The policy under the EURO26 WORLD, SPORT, WORLD EXTRA and SPORT EXTRA Cards covers sudden events during terrorist attacks in countries where martial law or a state of emergency has not been introduced. The cover expires at the end of the 7th day from the start of war, terror attacks or civil war in the territory of the country where the Insured stays. The protection does not apply if you are traveling to a country where there is already a war or civil war going on.

The EURO26 Card and the EYCA card are exactly the same. The EURO26/EYCA card may be known under different names, e.g. “Carnet Joven” in Spain or “Young Scot” in Scotland. The most important identification element of the Cards is the logo.
