European Youth Card EURO26 Project

The EURO26 Card is the result of an unusual international project run by the Brussels-based non-profit European Youth Card Association (EYCA). EYCA has 40 member organizations in 30 European countries – including the Youth Projects Foundation of Gdansk, which issues the EURO26 Card in Poland.

Our misson

The mission of the Youth Projects Foundation is to develop mobility and improve the quality of life for young people. We want to create conditions for young people to move more easily and cheaply, travel safely, make international contacts, learn new skills and have greater access to education. We believe that investing in the development of young people is the key to the future of a thriving society and economy.

The EURO26 Card is a document confirming membership in the Club of the Youth Projects Foundation and entitles you to enjoy the privileges provided by the Project run by the Foundation.

The most similar sum for medical expenses abroad, with such a wide territorial scope and coverage offered by our Partner UNIQA TU S.A., is presented by Wiener TU S.A. of the Vienna Insurance Group. Thanks to the tremendous support of our Partner UNIQA TU S.A., the most expensive insurance variant for the EURO26 SPORT EXTRA+RH+OC Card together with the membership fee for joining the Youth Projects Foundation Club costs only PLN 324 – that’s less than 2% of the market price! This is a huge savings and real support for Club Members of our Foundation. In addition, the sum of medical expenses in the insurance to the Card is much higher and amounts to more than 1 million zlotys (250,000 euros).

Why is insurance with the EURO26 Card cheaper than other offers from insurers on the market?

Insurance with EURO26 Card is not a commercial offer and is not available to everyone. Only those who are members of the Youth Projects Foundation Club can take advantage of the insurance terms. The offer of such low-cost insurance is the result of the agreement signed by the Foundation with UNIQA TU S.A. and its contribution to the development of the EURO26 Card Project.

The unique insurance terms available with the EURO26 Card demonstrate UNIQA TU S.A. for supporting the mobility of young people.

How to become a Club Member of the Youth Projects Foundation? How much does the Card “cost”?

  • To join the Youth Projects Foundation Club, fill out the online application and mark the required consents.
  • Make a payment of PLN 45, which is the Club’s annual membership fee. The Foundation does not “sell Cards.” The Card is an identification document and confirmation of membership in the Club.
  • According to the Regulations you can apply to join the Foundation Club no later than two days before your 30th birthday!
  • After paying the membership fee, you will receive the Card in virtual form at the e-mail address provided in the application.
  • For Club Members who are older than 16 (regardless of the virtual card), there is an EYCA mobile app. The app has a function for geolocating discounts.
  • You can optionally register there, but it is not required for discounts. The virtual card is completely sufficient for you. Instead of an app to search for current discounts, you can simply use your browser and address: https://eyca.org/discounts
  • If you want to take advantage of UNIQA TU S.A.’s unique offer, you can, at the application stage for joining the Youth Projects Foundation Club, order annual insurance at preferential terms right away. If you do this, we will collect the insurance premium on behalf of the insurer along with the Foundation Club membership fee. Note: the collected insurance premium does not constitute income for the Foundation and is transferred in full to the insurer UNIQA TU S.A.
