Regulations of participation in the European Youth Card EURO26 Project (hereinafter referred to as the “EURO26 Regulations”)
§1. Purpose of the project. Membership in the Foundation Club.
- These Regulations set out the rules of participation in the European Youth Card EURO26 Project, hereinafter referred to as the “Project“.
- The project, in the area of Polish, is exclusively carried out by the Youth Projects Foundation, with its registered office in Gdańsk (80-320), Aleja Grunwaldzka 523, registered in the District Court Gdańsk Północ in Gdańsk, VII Commercial Division of the National Court Register under KRS number 0000962092, hereinafter referred to as the “Foundation“.
- The Foundation is a member of EYCA (European Youth Card Association) – a non-profit organization of 40 member organizations that issue the European Youth Card to more than 7 million young people in more than 30 countries across Europe.
- The Foundation runs the Club of the Foundation for Youth Projects (hereinafter referred to as the “Club”) and issues the EURO26 Card to the members of the Club, which confirms membership in the Club (hereinafter referred to as the “Card“). The card is issued for a period of one year.
- The project is addressed exclusively to people who are members of the Youth Projects Foundation Club, and its aim is to develop mobility and improve the quality of life of young people by offering them access to seminars, research and publications within the framework of organizations affiliated to the EYCA, as well as access to preferential discounts in the areas of insurance, transport, accommodation, recreation, sports and various services.
- The rights resulting from participation in the Project are vested only in persons who are members of the Club and have a Card. Possession of the Card by a person who is not a member of the Club does not entitle to participate in the Project.
- Distributor On behalf of the Foundation, there is Youth Projects Managements Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Gdańsk (80-320) at Aleja Grunwaldzka 523 lok. 6, Tax Identification Number 5833147801; REGON: 221576401, KRS: 0000403176.
- Card Distributors may also be other entities that have entered into a tripartite agreement with the Foundation and the Distributor, hereinafter referred to as “Card Distribution Points“.
- The Foundation and the Distributor reserve the right to contact the members of the Club by e-mail, as well as by text message, MMS, voice transmission or other forms of direct communication, and to send information about, m.in the organized events, the validity of the Card, available discounts and insurance conditions.
§2. Map
- A person ordering a Card through the Distributor’s IT system fills in an online form or fills it in at the Card Distribution Point and pays a fee of PLN 45.00 (forty-five zlotys). The fee is the annual membership fee in the Club. After completing these formalities, the person is admitted to the Club and becomes a Card Holder.
- Unlawful use of another person’s personal data by the person ordering the Card may constitute a crime prosecuted by way of public prosecution.
- Only a natural person who is at least 5 and not over 30 years of age on the day of joining the Club may become a Card Holder issued directly by the Foundation or in cooperation with the Foundation, the Distributor or the Card Distribution Point may be placed no later than two days before the age of 30.
- The EURO26 Card can be held by both learners and non-learners. The criterion is the age of the person indicated above.
- In the case of persons aged 5 to 16, the person ordering the Card or performing other actions on their behalf is the Parent or Legal Guardian.
- After paying the membership fee, the Card is sent in the form of a Virtual Card as a password-coded pdf file. with a photo, to the e-mail address indicated in the order form. The person ordering the Card is responsible for the correctness of the e-mail address.
- A dedicated Panel is available for Cardholders on the https://euro26.pl/panel-klienta website, where the Cardholder can automatically do the following 24 hours a day:
- resign from their membership in the Club,
- withdraw from the insurance contract, provided that he/she still has the right of withdrawal,
- recover a lost Virtual Card,
- recover a lost Insurance Certificate,
- make additional insurance for the USA and Canada,
- “extend the validity of the Card” for another year, i.e. obtain a new Card with new numbers, but without the need to fill in the data in the order form again, unless they have changed and do not need to be updated.
- A Cardholder who is over 13 years of age may register their Card in the European Youth Card mobile application available for devices using the following systems: Windows Mobile, Symbian, Android or iOS. Instructions for downloading the application are available at the link: https://euro26.pl/karta-w-aplikacji-mobilnej/. Signing up for the app is not essential. Virtual card as a pdf file. displayed on mobile devices and the discount search engine available at the https://eyca.org/discounts link allow you to take advantage of discounts.
- Only for Cardholders under 13 years of age, a Parent or Legal Guardian may order an additional plastic Card from the Distributor or at the Distribution Point, on the terms described in §3 below.
- Due to the preferential insurance conditions offered in the Project for Club members, the Card Holder without insurance may order an additional Card in the variant providing for insurance cover during the period of its validity. In this case, the Cardholder will not be entitled to a refund of the fee paid for the first Card.

§3. Shipping the card
- A Parent or Legal Guardian who has ordered an additional Plastic Card, hereinafter referred to as the Card Purchaser, will receive it by post to the correspondence address indicated in the order form.
- The Purchaser of the Card grants the Distributor a one-time power of attorney to conclude an agreement with the Polish Post for the provision of services on its behalf – in order to send the purchased goods, i.e. a plastic Card, through the Distributor. The above power of attorney allows you to minimize the cost of postage (including VAT).
- The remuneration of PLN 9.80 (nine zlotys 80/100) for the power of attorney was included in the price of the Card, as it was related to its purchase. If shipping costs are paid by the Distributor, the above power of attorney provisions do not apply.
- The Card is handed over to the Polish Post Office by the Distributor within a maximum of 7 working days from the date of ordering the Plastic Card by the Card Purchaser and paying the fee for the power of attorney.
- Delivery of the Plastic Card by the Polish Post to the Card Purchaser is carried out within the deadlines and on the terms specified by the Card, available on the website of the https://www.poczta-polska.pl/
- The Foundation and the Distributor shall not be liable for delays resulting from the act or omission of Poczta Polska.
- In the event of non-delivery due to an act or omission of the Polish Post, a new Card will be sent only upon receipt of confirmation from the Polish Post that the parcel has not been delivered.
- The Foundation and the Distributor shall not be liable for non-delivery of the Card or delay in its delivery caused by an incorrect or inaccurate address provided by the Card Purchaser.
- In the event of failure to collect the parcel, all costs related to the return of the parcel to the Distributor are covered by the Card Purchaser. Re-sending of the Card is possible after payment for the return and re-sending of the parcel.
- Complaints regarding non-delivery of the Card should be submitted to the Distributor within 30 days from the date of placing the order to the following address: kontakt@euro26.pl.
- In the event of destruction, damage or loss of the Card issued in a plastic version, the Card Purchaser may obtain a duplicate of the Card directly from the Distributor. The fee for issuing a duplicate Card is PLN 10.00 (ten zloty). The validity period of the duplicate is the same as the validity period of the lost or damaged Card. The Purchaser of the Card and the Cardholder to whom the duplicate has been issued are not entitled to additional entitlements under insurance or other benefits, the duplicate only certifies the continuation of these entitlements.
§4. Insurance. Reporting a claim.
- The Card may contain an additional preferential insurance premium for UNIQA Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń S.A. with its registered office in Warsaw, 51 Chłodna Street (hereinafter referred to as “UNIQA”), for cards with insurance concluded under the terms of Group Policy No. 2050552309 and in the amount depending on the scope of insurance cover and the selected variant of the Card.
- The amount of the fee for issuing the Card with insurance, which is the surplus of PLN 45.00 (forty-five zloty) for the membership fee in the Club of the Youth Projects Foundation, is the cost of insurance cover provided by UNIQA.
- By ordering a Card with insurance or additional insurance for the USA and Canada:
- confirms the will to be covered by insurance by UNIQA and acknowledges that the policyholder is the Foundation, while the insurance agent is the Distributor acting on behalf of UNIQA,
- consents to the processing of his/her personal data by UNIQA for the purpose of concluding and performing an insurance contract on his/her account,
- confirms that his/her needs have been examined before deciding on the choice of the insurance option and he/she has read and accepted the terms and conditions of the UNIQA insurance,
- confirms that he/she has read the documents published on the Project’s website, i.e.:
- Information on the processing of personal data at UNIQA
- UNIQA’s disclosure obligations
- UNIQA Specific Insurance Conditions
- Information about UNIQA insurance products
- authorises each doctor to provide UNIQA with information about his or her health condition and to provide documentation on the course of his or her treatment necessary to consider a claim for payment of the benefit.
- In the event of the necessity to report a loss under the concluded insurance policy (reporting an accident, illness or other event), the Cardholder is obliged to immediately contact the UNIQA Emergency Centre at: tel. +48 22 599 91 85 or SMS +48 661 001 601 under pain of not accepting the coverage of medical costs or payment of compensation by UNIQA.
§5. Discount
- The Cardholder may take advantage of various discounts that are available to Cardholders in the discount search engine available on the EYCA https://eyca.org/discounts website or through the European Youth Card application referred to in §2 section 8.
- The use of discounts and benefits offered by the Discounters takes place only on the terms specified by them.
- The Discounter may ask the Cardholder to present a document to confirm the identity of the person using the Card. The Cardholder should allow the above.
- The Cardholder accepts that a given discount may be withdrawn by the Discounter at any time or may be replaced by other conditions by the Discounter, which does not mean that the Cardholder is entitled to a refund of the fees referred to in §2.1 and §4.2 of the Terms and Conditions or any other claim for compensation.
- The Foundation and the Distributor make every effort to ensure that the published information about discounts is up-to-date, however, they are not responsible for changes made by the Discounters, so before each use of the discount, the Cardholder should make sure that it is valid, and any complaints should be submitted directly to the Discounter.
§6. Resignation from membership in the Club.
- The Cardholder may resign from membership in the Club at any time:
- by submitting a written statement of resignation to the address of the Foundation’s or the Distributor’s headquarters. The resignation form is attached as Appendix 1 to the Terms and Conditions.
- using the Client Panel referred to in §2 section 7
- Resignation from membership in the Club does not entitle the Cardholder to receive a refund of the membership fee paid or further use of the Card.
§7. Waiver of insurance.
- The Cardholder in the version with insurance may withdraw from the insurance contract within 30 days from the date of payment for the insurance policy by:
- submission of a written statement of withdrawal from the agreement to the address of the Foundation’s or the Distributor’s registered office. The withdrawal form is attached as Appendix 2 to the Regulations.

- In the event of effective withdrawal from the insurance contract, the Distributor shall reimburse the Cardholder for the insurance premium reduced by a part of the fee in proportion to the period for which the insurance cover was in force before the Cardholder submitted the statement of withdrawal.
- At the same time, the Distributor reserves the right to charge a handling fee in the amount of PLN 200.00 (two hundred zlotys) in connection with incurring additional administrative work related to the processing of the application for withdrawal from the insurance contract. In the event of a handling fee exceeding the amount paid by the Card Holder for ordering the Card or ordering additional insurance for the USA and Canada, the Cardholder will be obliged to pay it (or to pay the difference) within 7 days from the date of submitting the request for withdrawal to the Distributor’s account.
- Withdrawal from the insurance is treated as the Cardholder’s resignation from membership in the Club.
- At the stage of submitting a request for withdrawal, the Cardholder is obliged to submit to the Distributor a statement about the occurrence of damage during the period of using the insurance cover or the lack thereof. If a statement on the occurrence of a loss is not submitted during the period of using the insurance cover or if it is not thereof, the submitted application will be rejected as incomplete and will need to be supplemented in order for it to be effectively examined.
- The date of effective withdrawal from the insurance contract shall be the date of receipt of a complete application for withdrawal from the insurance contract within the deadline referred to in §7 section 1 above.
§8 Final provisions.
- These Terms and Conditions shall enter into force on 31 March 2024 and shall apply to Cardholders who have submitted applications to join the Project and paid the contributions due after that date (depending on the selected variant of the Card)
- Cardholders who submitted applications to join the Project and paid contributions (depending on the option chosen) before the date of entry into force of these Regulations shall be subject to the provisions of the Regulations in their current wording.
- The Regulations have been adopted by the Foundation’s Board in consultation with the Distributor and may be subject to change. The amendment will be made public by posting it on the website: www.euro26.pl with an indication of the date of entry into force of the amendment to the Terms and Conditions. The amendment to the Terms and Conditions shall not apply to Cardholders who placed orders and made payments before the effective date of these Terms and Conditions.
